Volkswagen Group Singapore successfully concludes “Unleash the Zoomies” campaign with a meaningful impact

Singapore, 16 April 2026 – Volkswagen Group Singapore (VGS) successfully concluded its “Unleash the Zoomies” campaign in celebration of International Pets Day, raising a total of over $1,400 for the SPCA through strong community participation.
Held from 1 to 11 April 2026, the campaign invited members of the public to take part in a meaningful initiative where $10 was donated for every test drive completed across Volkswagen, Škoda and CUPRA models. Over the course of the campaign, a total of 140 test drives were recorded, translating directly into funds that will support the SPCA’s ongoing efforts to protect and care for vulnerable animals in Singapore.
A celebration of pets and purpose
The “Unleash the Zoomies” campaign reflects Volkswagen Group Singapore’s continued commitment to the community, including our four-legged friends. Funds raised from the campaign will go towards supporting the SPCA’s programmes, including animal rescue, rehabilitation, and advocacy for responsible pet ownership.
“Seeing the community come together in support of this initiative has been incredibly encouraging. Each test drive taken represents not just interest in our vehicles, but a shared commitment to improving the lives of animals in need. We are proud to partner with the SPCA and support their important work,” said John Gaw, Sales & Marketing Director of Volkswagen Group Singapore. The campaign ended on 11 April 2026 with a vibrant, pet-friendly event at Volkswagen Centre Singapore. The space was transformed into a lively community hub, welcoming pet owners, families, car and animal lovers for a fun and enriching day out. Visitors enjoyed a curated Pets’ Fair featuring artisanal treats and accessories, with vendors such as Buddy Bites, In Warm Regard, Wagacy, Pet Times, Lunavae and In Good Thyme all making donations to the SPCA as well. This was held alongside interactive experiences and educational sessions conducted by the SPCA and partners such as AIA, celebrating the joy that pets bring and reinforcing the importance of care and compassion towards animals. Visitors also showed great interest in the various animals up for adoption from the SPCA, as volunteers shared their stories, behavioural patterns and more.
